The Gerson Therapy is a very practical, highly detailed book that guides the reader through an intensive nutritional treatment for people who suffer from cancer and other severe diseases.
The work from Max Gerson, M.D., contains 400 pages of specifics, instructions, hints, cautions, recipes, case histories and references and was passed on to his daughter Charlotte Gerson who has immersed her whole life in healing people. She first studied with her father and was then teaching his method to the whole world.
Max Gerson found a way to cure cancer, by providing his patients a strict fat-free, salt-free, low-protein, essentially vegetarian diet based on fresh vegetable juices in large quantities, supplements and systemic detoxification methods.
cancer results in high toxicity and deficiencies within the body. To eliminate this toxins an hourly administration of fresh vegetable juice is prescribed, to help flush out the kidneys. The poisonous substances (accumulated over many years) then enter the blood stream and get filtered by the liver. To help support and strengthen the liver the patient inserts coffee at body temperature, absorbed from the colon via the HEMORRHOIDal vein, which transfers the caffeine to the portal system. the caffeine stimulates the bile to open and release the toxins into the intestinal tract for excretion.
the gerson therapy is a success story and although often miss treated and not taking seriously it has saved many lives or let people live years longer than with regular medical treatment.
Especially the everyday life after changing diet according to the gerson therapy improves tremendously in both quality and length. The patients are less fatigue, weak and their energy level improve almost to normal. So why the therapy is yet still unknown after six decades of practice and not included in every treatment plan? Because it is not profitable enough as a part of our pharmaceutical system. Doctors don’t get paid for these methods and are not trained sufficiently when it comes do diet, nutrition and food. It is not even a big part at of their studies at university.
Therefore we need to SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE, spread the word and help the change to make this world a better place!
I see in Dr. Max Gerson one of the most eminent geniuses
in medical history.
(Dr. Albert Einstein)
Ok, maybe i convinced you to look into veganism a little closer.. but how to get started? Well, i would always start by watching ‘Cowspiracy’ and ‘What the health’ available on Netflix. They are both made by the same producers and explain almost everything. I also love Michael Greger and his dry sense of humor explaining and researching everything. His book ‘How not to die’ shows in which way the western diet harms our body and why and how we should adapt to a plant-based diet. It is a really good book! He is also speaks in many different documentaries and his most famous speeches are all available on Youtube. Gaining knowledge and understanding WHY you should go vegan is in my opinion the most important part, because as i mentioned before, you have to be willing, committed and passionate about making a positive change in your life.
After taking the decision it is actually pretty simple: Don’t eat or consume anymore products that are made out of animal products or have been produced by harming them. Check the back of your favorite cereals. If they contain milk or milk-powder just substitute them with others who don’t. There is also a great online program called the
that helps and guides you the first 3 weeks. After your first day of being vegan you might get a proud comforting feeling in your stomach that you have actually survived a day without meat or your usal habits. Why? Because it is not like in a diet. I am talking to the ladys here especially 😉
It is not like being on a diet, changing your habits because we want to lose some weight.. It is not about restriction it is about adapting! So you can still eat as much as you want, get full, have an oreo cookie if you need something sweet and you are using your brain to be aware of what is inside the products you are consuming. It is actually fun and the good side of it is you will lose some weight! Guaranteed! I lost almost 10 kilos.. of course also due to my intense yoga practice and teachings but eating a nourishing whole foods plant-based diet has a profound impact on your whole body and system. I felt so much lighter and you know what stopped? Being hungry and craving for something all the time. Now i have a meal and thats it. No more after one hour i eat this and then just before dinner i’ll have this .. it just stopped and it feels amazing! Also a lot of people told me about their digestion and how they didn’t know that it is normal to go to toilet for the big business up to 3 times per day (!!!). instead they went once every three days… oh my god imagine you have all this rotten flesh in your intestines for over threeeeeee daaaays!
So this topic will change eventually and you should be excited for this, the great skin you will get and the new happy feeling. Because all the depressing emotions of the killed animals and the suffering from cows who lost their babies just after a couple of days or being killed in the slaughterhouses won’t be emitted into your body anymore.
When i accidentally had a Cappuccino with cow milk after 4 months being vegan i felt so bad! Not only in my stomach.. i got really depressed, sad and angry! That was due to all the hormones in the milk that are really not supposed to be consumed by human beings. We don’t drink mothers milk when we are grown up and most people feel disgusted by that thought. So how come we are the only species who drink mother milk from others? No other animal or creature does that. The milk a cow mommy produces is for her baby and her baby only , to turn it into a tonne heavy cow in a very short period of time! Drinking that milk as a human – man can get titts and women completely out of their hormonal balance.
But we have been told from when we were young it is good to substitute mothers milk with cows milk because of all the nutrients and the calcium to strengthen our bones.
Well its so sad but it is one of the biggest industrial lies of all times.
We have been brainwashed for decades to buy their products but in fact there is absolutely no reason why we should be drinking milk from any other species.
After telling my family that i became a vegan they were so great and tried it all or at least stopped eating meat. When my grandma was craving for cheese after a few month and had buckled up for some she was so sick all night that she had to call the ambulance the next morning. She stayed vegan since 😉
I hope i was able to inspire you a little bit to get started! I will share more information soon and i will also tell you all about my studies as i will become a certified nutrition coach focusing on plant-based diet. If you need help or have any kind of questions please contact me or leave a comment here. I would love to hear about your experiences and how you started becoming vegan. Good Luck and all the best to you!
Why is it so important for me to share all of this?
“What happened with her?!” and where is it all coming from?
Taking that step, going to the Ashram, practicing Yoga, going vegan and surrendering to what life had brought to me changed me and my whole life completely. It made my life so beautiful and so much happier that i feel the need to say thank you!
I want to share my experiences to also make your life happier and to give you some inspiration where to find knowledge to grow. maybe some parts of my experiences find you just right and we can reach together a higher state of consciousness.
How did that happen?
By following my heart… first to Bangkok .. what brought divine love into my life and following this love .. yoga came to me.
since i started following my heart and soul I don’t eat the same way and I don’t sleep the same way i used to do.
My thoughts are different, my commitment and attitude towards other living beings has changed. I don’t work in the same profession anymore, I don’t drink or smoke and instead of going out late i go up early in the morning – a goal i thought I would never be able to achieve in life! I look and feel different and i can say i am on my way, trying to become the best version of myself.
Until i changed my diet I always had problems with my stomach and digestion. Sometimes i had cramps so bad that i almost lost consciousness. Since i ‘m vegan i never had them again. My skin is much better and my hair looks shiny. I have more power and it elates me to eat clean, saving animals and the environment.
People keep asking me isn’t it hard to be vegan?
I feel like
taking this decision made my life so much easier!
There are no more question running through my mind ‘oh should i have another cake or i feel like ice cream..’ It is a commitment that stops several dialogues in your head.. because you already made up your mind and decided! You took a choice how to live your life and you are committed! No room for excuses or discussions with yourself.
When i got the knowledge about why going vegan it was only one thought that activated the whole process. Understanding why!
I CLAIM IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH SELF-LOVE.
After reading and studying about nutrition and plant-based diet I had to admit that
-honestly- I love my self too much than to harm my body and system every day for “brain” pleasure and I never ever missed something.. That’s the weirdest part! Normally i expected cravings and feeling sad for not having something anymore but honestly i never felt sorry that i am not having something anymore!!! It is so easy to replace food and it became a challenge in almost everything i do…
Cooking dishes as similar as possible to how i used to cook (before I lived on a plant based diet) and being so proud that things feel, taste and look the same! i promise You can copy everything!
Also trying to avoid plastic as much as possible can get addictive 🙂
So the sooner we start learning how we do that best – start copying and become more aware of our environment!
the sooner the better and the earth can start healing again.
BUT NOW tHE most important part is … EVERYONE can do that!
I am nothing special. Everyone is capable of committing, taking a decision and making a choice whether you want to adapt something new in life or not. Actually I am pretty lazy and i honestly don’t like to work out hard. But i COMMITTED and I stay determined. I committed myself to yoga and to my practice and that brought all the change in my life. Sometimes i look in the mirror and still need to get used to this new self, because it took only 5 months. I lost almost 10 kilos, gained muscles I´ve never had before and shed my skin.
I really want to encourage you to look into your life and into yoga philosophy, nutrition and healthcare to become the best version of yourself! I wish i could show you all individually how easy and how much fun it is! if you need help along the way i will support you – if you want to!
So please feel free to contact me anytime!
in my opinion it all starts with love. Self-love and love towards others. Love who you are, what you do, what surrounds you and what accompanies you along the way. Sit down and reflect.. what do you love and what not? Then take action. Change the things you don’t love and replace them with things, people, places and moments that brings joy, happiness and peace in your life and they will attract more…
That’s the law of the universe!
Love to you all
Yoga is much more than just a way of improving and excercising your body.. it's a holistic way of living to become the best version of yourself.
I will never forget the moment when i realized that yoga is not yoga..
Yoga the way we practice it in the western world - in a studio or a course - is actually called Asana practice. Asana originally means sitting posture in Sanskrit, the ancient primary liturgical language of Hinduism. It is referred to the postures we practice when we perform physical exercise.
It was at a workshop near Frankfurt when i met my teachers Jeenal and Daniel for the first time. They are a married couple (she from India and he from Brazil) living together in an Ashram in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I was sitting cross-legged in a basement with almost 30 other people when my transformation process began and i learned that Yoga is an old Philosophy from India and holistic way of living your life.
It was so fascinating listening to their words, that after 30 minutes i knew already that no matter what, i needed to go to Chiang Mai, do the Yoga Teacher Training and learn everything they are offering to teach!
6 months later i moved in to their lovely Ashram in the outskirts of Chiang Mai. The atmosphere and the beautiful nature around the property were just breath taking. Although I had been practicing yoga every other day in Nuremberg (where i had spent summer before) and thought i was prepared - I had no idea how the knowledge they were going to provide would change my whole life!
Thats when i learned what yoga is all about.
Yoga is not a religion. Its a way of life - aware and conscious. That means to find out who you really are and whats your purpose in life. Yoga helps to focus and concentrate on finding ones true nature and spirit in life.
The answers to most of your questions lie within yourself and with the help of yoga practice you can learn to listen to them. You can learn to listen to your heart and soul.. finding your individual truth. To achieve this state of so called 'enlightenment' is reached through meditation, asana practice and self reflection.
How can you EXPECT others to know and understand your self if you don't know your self or listen to what it is trying to tell you ..!?
Practicing yoga comes with devotion and a dedicated lifestyle. Instead of watching television before I go to sleep i now started thinking about what had happened that day, reflecting, studying or reading to gain more knowledge and to grow as a person.
The most inspiring knowledge and the roots of Indian philosophy are the 195 verses of Patanjali's Yogasutra. He is called 'the father' of yoga because he structured the patterns of yoga and put them in order into the scriptures of Yogasutra.
I was lost for words coming across all this ancient knowledge and when I read 'Ich. bin. jetzt. ' by Su Buson, an austrian writer who also interpreted the beginners path of Patanjali. The way she explains the beginners path of yoga (Ashtanga Yoga) and the BEAUTIFUL words she uses are just incredible. In my opinion every single human on earth should read her book for a start 😉
Looking inside yourself and taking the yogic path also enables us to find our roots and to concentrate on everyone's individual purpose and journey in life. Many people are stuck, fighting for approval, power, or money and are blurred by materialism. Moreover they keep listening to the same negative thoughts, running through their mind day by day by day. But this (often negative) reality is properly the exact opposite. It is not real! it is a made up reality in your head that won't allow you to experience peace and ease in your life. Therefore we practice Yoga. To concentrate and to gain peace, love, respect and awareness towards the environment and towards our self - to find your destiny and the way to your individual journey on this planet!
So to find a way out of this slough Patanjali explains in the Yogasutra the eightfold path - called Ashtanga, which literally means "eight limbs" (ashta=eight, anga=limb). These eight steps basically act as guidelines for beginners on how to live a meaningful and purposeful life. They describe self-discipline, the morals and ethical conducts a yogi should internalize. Also they imply on food ethics, how to live a healthy life and help to acknowledge spiritual aspects of our nature.
In the next section Philosophy i will explain more detailed what the eight limbs of yoga comprehend and what they mean to my life.
Practicing Yoga brought me to peace in my life and after i set foot on the path everything fell into places, surrendering to my practice and to love. I learned that deep inside of me there existed a root that wanted to grow .. to elate and inspire others. And suddenly everything and every decision i took in my life made sense and i wish the same for you and your practice!
