Hello and welcome back!

I spent the last 12 days in Bangkok updating and rewriting this blog!
It was such a beautiful and inspiring time and i am grateful for every minute. I got inspired by this amazing city and the great people i met!

After working almost 7 hours every day to finalize the content – i am finally ready to share what I’ve experienced and learned since October last year, when my travels started.
It was so good to take some time off and reflect what had happened the last couple of months. A lot has changed in my life and i hope by reading this blog, it might inspire you as well, to think about certain things and to make a change!

Tomorrow I’ll leave Bangkok and i am going to join
the 300h Yoga Teacher Training in Chiang Mai!
I am really excited to go back to the Ashram and to study for the next 6 weeks. I’ll keep you updated and share KNOWLEDGE ABOUT AYURVEDA and  Yoga Philosophy.

See you on the other side 😉

Welcome to Bali – an island with great magical power!
A few days before we flew over to Denpasar  i randomly booked a place to stay in Canggu. I really had no idea where we were going to end up but when i entered Serenity Eco guesthouse & Yoga i almost couldn’t believe it! It is heaven on earth combined with Yoga which wasn’t mentioned online. It was destined for me to stay there , i felt so much joy and I was overwhelmed and so grateful that the universe had managed for me to find this place. I felt so connected to a higher power and had the urgent need to tell the whole world about this special place. I met the owners and set up an interview with them which i will publish as soon as possible on Youtube to share their whole story and concept behind.

The estate and the energy is just beyond words and after we had our first meal at the in-house Alkaline restaurant we extended our stay immediately.  I never had food like this before. It is so nourishing, organic and produced with only alcaline water, without any sugar or gluten that after a few days you can feel SUCH A DIFFERENCE in your body, in the way you move, you think and act – its incredible!
I recommend everyone to stay there at least for one week and experience this great physical and mental change.
Practice some Yoga, meditate and just let yourself unwind.
I even decided to come back all the way from Lombock to spend another couple of days there at the end of my stay although i was flying out from Lombock to Thailand.

The rest of Bali and Lombock was also nice but our highlight was DEFINITELY Serenity Guesthouse and Yoga.
On Gili T we stayed in the Mango tree homestay of a beautiful, super nice couple (german and Indonesian). We went snorkeling, enjoyed the great vegan food, practiced some yoga and watched the sunsets. It was so beautiful! when i tried Aerial Yoga for the first time i fell in love right away and soon after i decided that my next and final step on my journey was going to go to India .. to study more and to see where it all came from.

All in all we had a fantastic time and it was hard to say goodbye but i was ready.. ready to go on, ready to go home 🙂

After teaching Yoga almost full-time at trunkstudios in Sydney the day came where we had to say goodbye and started travelling again! We took the train to Byron Bay (13 hours !!!) and loved it  right away. The hostel we stayed in was incredible and full of nice people. The Backpackers Inn is located right at the beach and to get there you have to walk through a little sandy path in the woods that felt just like in the beach when Leo enters the beach for the first time! From Byron Bay we took the Bus  up to Brisbane and oh my god who would have thought that Brisbane is the most beautiful city in the world! Not the best – that’s Bangkok for sure – but honestly magnificently gorgeous. I was running around filming and absorbing this beautiful place, practicing yoga with our great host and Yogi Celine. We stayed in her apartment in the 48th floor with an outstanding view over Brisbane. I will never forget the weekend we spent there..

From there we rented a camper van driving all the way up the east-coast to Cairns. The highlights on this trip were the camping ground in Hervey bay and sailing on the Matador yacht to the Whitsundays.  The landscape was so beautiful, especially around Mackay and the way up to Cairns. Also living and cooking in our car was just an extraordinary experience. A great way to travel especially with your partner. After 11 days we finally arrived on the airport and were super excited for our last trip together …

Back in Thailand

For my big birthday there was only one wish and one present i really wanted!
– Spending some time in Bangkok and having a great holiday with my dad and sister!
Their final destination, after visiting me in Australia, was Thailand and so i booked me in and joined them on the 22nd of march on my favorite island in the world : Phi Phi Island!
We had such a fantastic time, snorkeling and relaxing in the sun.
A few days later i packed my bags and went to Bangkok where i ended up in the greatest hostel i have ever stayed at. Yim Yam Hostel & Garden is located at Ratachatewi in the center of Bangkok, almost next to MBK. It has nice quiet rooms, is super clean and has a great relaxed atmosphere. I felt like finding a diamond in the city and knew the moment i entered this place i will come back here for years and years!

Another great gift i got for my birthday – from my beautiful man –
was the DJI Osmo Mobile (stabilizer) and i started filming every loved corner in Bangkok. When i was leaving Thailand, with all the great footage i had shot, i recognized filming had become an addictive passion for me and i wanted to film more to share it on Youtube.
Not for promotional reasons but just to say thank you!

Thank you for all the great experiences i made and also to my family, for coming all the way down under and spending time with me! I am so grateful for everything that came along this journey and i am very excited what is going to happen next …

On the 30th of November 2017 we arrived in Melbourne and our
mission Australia started!
To be honest I was really hyped and impatient to find a job as soon as possible. That’s why we moved on very quickly to Sydney to settle down and find work. I would have never ever thought having my first interview in Australia for becoming a Hatha Yoga Teacher in a great Studio.
But i guess it was destined 🙂 that I started teaching 6 weeks later in a brand new, beautiful place in Dulwich Hill, Sydney. I am so grateful for this experience and the trust they showed in me!

Trunkstudios was the perfect place to start and I wish I could have stayed longer. Teaching my students inspired me so much, that I decided to go back to the Ashram and study more, to become a Yoga Teacher for life. It’s such a different and beautiful way of working and I hope I will be able to keep this feeling forever!
Doing what I love for work elates me and encourages me do follow this new path, although I have no clue how to proceed and where this is heading to … but as I learned from Michael A. Singer I trust and surrender to life!

On friday 17th Of november we SUCCESSFULLY Completed our 200h yoga teacher training at wise living yoga academy. It was a beautiful ceremony and i am so grateful for everything i have learned! I will definitely come back and continue my studies.

In the afternoon we drove bAck to beautiful chiang mai and spend a MARVELOUS weekend in town. We went to The elephant jungle sanctuary and fed elephants and took a bath with them in the river. I will never forget this day and this amazIng time we spend the last weeks in the north of thailand…

These past weeks have been life changing and such a great experience!
Thus it was very exhausting and intense studying, every day!
We lived at our great teachers home -Jeenal & Daniel- in an Ashram in Doi Saket (Chiang Mai) and learned that yoga is much more than just physical exercise (called Asana practice) because Yoga is actually a holistic path to self-realization!

At 6:30 our day started with meditation. At seven o’clock we had asana practice in the yoga hall until breakfast at 8:30. At 10 our first lesson of the day started with Daniel, mostly about Yoga tradition and philosophy! Then we had class with Jeenal until lunch time. We practiced purification techniques or learned about plant based diet and Ayurveda. In the first 2 weeks we had a relaxation session after lunch at around 1:30 which was also guided by us students. Very relaxing 🙂 In the afternoon we had praNayama breathing lesons and Yoga Sutra classes (by Patanjali) with Jeenal until our asana teacher session in the afternoon, starting at 5! The day ended with chanting and meditative reflection of the day and with a very healthy dinner at 6.30! Usually I started studying at 7.15 till 9.15 and went to bed right after!

I will miss these Ashram days, concentrated, healthy and focused!

ARRIVING IN CHIANG MAI ALMOST FELT LIKE HOME AND I WAS again IMMEDIATELY AMAZED BY THE ENERGY AND ATMOSPHERE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY! after our last breakfast in liberty we took a red cab to the beautiful nature in doi saket and entered the ashram.
we are living here now since 2 weeks – two more weeks to come.

THE FIRST WEEK WAS REALLY EXHAUSTING, SITTING AND STUDYING AT THE FLOOR FOR 8 HOURS. but I love the traditional practice of yoga and all the Topics we are discussing about life, the ancient times and the yoga sutras written by patanjali.
of Course every day starts with Meditation practice followed by asana class. i have learned a lot about life & environment and practical approaches.
the next two weeks will be about teaching practices and how to provide this Knowledge to the outside world! i also changed my eating Habits into a plant based diet and get up every morning at 6. feel very good and will give you a summary of the most important aspects at the end of my stay here.

it is a life changing experience and i can absolutely recommend this institute and experience to everyone who is interested in
–> why we are here on this earth and what is the higher meaning of life!

After spending marvellous days in Bangkok we went on saturday evening to Cambodia.
Entering Siem Reap i felt how time has passed since i had been there in march, earlier this year. Unfortunately our Hotel had shut down Service since one month and we ended up in a very loud, really noisy, not so nice place in the Center, as substitue. Another 2 hours passed until we managed to find a much nicer place, a Little ouside the Center. The next day we enjoyed the City and the good Food and took the very exciting sleeping bus to Sihanoukville… a place i didn’t feel comfortable at all! IT IS VERY DIRTY EVERYWHERE AND IT THE ATHMOSPHERE IS GROSS!

So we took the first boat to paradise 🙂

Koh Rong Samloem is a beauftiful peace of earth, with only one large, White sand beach and no tourism. We enjoyed our Little hut next to the water and relaxed for two days, doing nothing. Heading back to Sihanoukville on Wednesday this lovely Resort saved us … so if you accidently end up in Sihanoukville go to this Hotel: Miiya Hotel

The next morning we left and drove by bus to Phnom Phen and had a fantastic but also shocking day (because of Pollution) in the capital of Cambodia.
Actually I was very happy to fly back home to Bangkok …

we finally made it and landed in the most beautiful and exciting City in the world: Bangkok !!!

after a Long goodbye tour in Germany we enjoyed our first massage and Thai Food lunch in Ramkhamhaeng and @SUKHUMVIT SOI 11.
We checked-in at the beautiful Galleria 10 sukhumvit bangkok and had a fantastic night out at our favourit Club cé la vie.
oNCE AGAIN I REALIZED – HOW SPECIAL AND MAGICAL THIS CITY IS AND HOW BEAUTIFUL THE PEOPLE AND THEIR ENERGY IS. That inspired me to list all amazing places i have been to so far in Bangkok and sahre it with you! Maybe you also get a Little inspired and hopefully get the Chance to visit my beloved places! Next stop is cambodia 🙂 see ya !
